I met Irene Cuzzaniti when I was in search of Icelandic Poppies early this year. I showed her the baskets that just arrived from the Philippines and we decided to do something at La Fioreria before I started selling them online in June. We agreed on a presentation of Weaving Lessons.

La Fioreria Cuccagna is one of the first places I’ve visited when I moved to Milan. I also took some classes there. Being a fan of Irene’s work, it was of great pleasure for me to have an event in her shop.

It was Irene’s idea to serve Filipino food, so I suggested to serve lumpia (spring rolls), fried banana with sugar, buchi (sesame balls) and cold ginger tea.
